To perform the surgery, incisions are made around the nipples and along the crease beneath the breasts. Through these incisions, we remove excess skin and tighten the remaining skin to produce the desired results. This procedure typically takes two to three hours to perform.
What Can I Expect After the Breast Lift Treatment?
After a breast lift, you will need to take at least one week off of work and other activities. During this time, you can expect swelling, bruising and discomfort in the breasts. These symptoms are most severe within the first week, but we will provide you with a prescription for pain medication and clear guidelines to make your recovery as comfortable as possible. Patients can expect to be fully healed about 6 to 8 weeks after their surgery.
