Restylane® is a dermal filler treatment that includes a main ingredient of hyaluronic acid. What is the Restylane® Treatment Like?
The Restylane® treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic onto the treatment area. This will numb the skin to minimize any discomfort during the injection process. After the skin is treated, the Restylane® formula will be injected into the appropriate area, typically in and around the desired wrinkles. The injection process takes only a few moments, so the entire Restylane® treatment is often completed in less than 30 minutes.
Does Restylane® Have Side Effects?
The main side effects of Restylane® include soreness, redness and mild bruising in the treatment area. However, the extent of these effects will vary from person to person. In any case, patients are able to return to work and other normal activities within just a day of treatment - and oftentimes immediately. There is no downtime or formal recovery period following Restylane® injections.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Restylane®?
