Meet Dr. Banks, Plastic Surgeon in Washington DC

Dr. Nia Banks is a board-certified plastic surgeon who treats patients in Washington, DC and Columbia, MD and the surrounding communities. Dr. Banks received her surgical training from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where she completed the Integrated Residency Program in plastic and reconstructive surgery. As the first surgical resident to complete this program, Dr. Banks received invaluable training that allows her to provide the highest degree of expertise and knowledge of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to her patients.

As a craniofacial fellow at the Hospital Necker-Enfants Malades in Paris, France, Dr. Banks provided reconstructive surgery for children with congenital anomalies. Her dedication to her patients is paramount, and her experiences have prepared her to treat a vast range of patients. Although she specializes in the areas of the face and breast, Dr. Banks is qualified to complete practically any plastic or reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Banks is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
