What is the Face Lift Treatment Like?
The facelift procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia depending on your treatment plan. Treatments that require general anesthesia will be performed at our local surgery center. To perform the surgery, incisions will be made along the hairline and around the back of the ears, where they will be well-hidden. Through these incisions, we will remove excess skin and tighten the remaining skin to refresh the appearance and create the desired results.
What Can I Expect After the Face Lift Treatment?
After a facelift, you will need to take at least two weeks off of work and other activities. During this time, you can expect swelling, bruising and discomfort in the face. These symptoms are most severe within the first week, but we will provide you with a prescription for pain medication and clear guidelines to make your recovery as comfortable as possible. Patients can expect to be fully healed about 6 to 8 weeks after their surgery.
